Excel 2007 Course Brief

This 2-day hands-on foundation building course is designed to equip new and inexperienced users with the essential features in Microsoft Excel 2007 that you would require for most day-to-day work. This course covers the concepts of Excel structure, records and data, data referencing, formula construct and calculations. All you need to know to use Excel correctly.

This course will teach you the usefulness of Excel in applying and deriving mathematical results in many day-to-day calculations for reports to enable you to be more productive at work. Designed with sufficient hands-on exercises to allow you to practice key lessons taught to enforce understanding on Microsoft Excel and experience Excel’s automatic updates capabilities replacing the need for manual calculations and the calculator.

I am a very experienced user of an earlier version of Microsoft Excel; can I skip this course and move on to the Excel 2007 Advanced course?

If you have not used Microsoft Excel 2007, NO, we do not recommend that you skip this course. You are likely to find yourself lagging behind as you would be struggling to find or locate features in the 2007 version which is totally different from the earlier versions.
