Microsoft Access 2007 Basic to Intermediate Course Brief

A 2-day hands-on foundation building course designed to equip new and inexperienced users with the key components in Microsoft Access 2007 that you would require to build a database and queries for retrieving data.

You will be taught the concept of a correct database design, how data tables are created and linked and their relationships. Get to understand the different data types and how to decide which data is to be allocated into which table. Failing these your database would be inefficient and your database may not work properly.

You will learn how to add, retrieve, modify and delete records from tables, and how to build forms and reports easily in Access.

This course is designed with hands-on exercises to allow you to practice key lessons taught to help you create a working database.

I am a very experienced user of an earlier version of Microsoft Access; can I skip this course and move on to the Access 2007 Advanced course?

If you have not used Microsoft Access 2007, NO, we do not recommend that you skip this course. You are likely to find yourself lagging behind as you would be struggling to find or locate features in the 2007 version which is totally different from the earlier versions.
